Dr Fras is the most professional, caring, personable doctor. He explains everything thoroughly and easy for you to understand. His bedside manner is exceptional! I am so thankful HE was the orthopedic doctor on call the weekend of my accident.
I needed emergent surgery for tib-fib fracture. Dr Fras provided thorough explanation of procedure, follow up care in hospital and office was great as were the surgical repair results. He provided both professional and compassionate care.
Broken leg fractured 3 places slipped on sidewalk Ice. Dr Fras was surgeon and amazing. Clear communications, passionate, open and leg is whole. 2 plates 15-20 screws. Called office with question a week later and office was responsive. For someone who needed surgery from ER and didn't have time to choose a provide I was so impressed in his skill, knowledge and appreciated that his residences as well. Also St. Mary's ortho 7th floor staff was excellent.
Dr. Fras is an admitted anti-vaxxer. I wonder if Spectrum knows one of their physicians doesn't believe in evidence-based practice. What other evidence or best practices does he choose to ignore? Is he endangering the populations he serves? Especially the vulnerable geriatric population that so often have orthopedic issues? Is he teaching residents at Spectrum? Is he negatively influencing their practice?
