RecommendedOne of our guinea pigs, 3 year old Pumpkin, had a sudden paralysis on her back legs this past Friday 😭. We took her to Animal Emergency Hospital in Grand Rapids on Sunday (since our vet was not open that day) and Pumpkin was treated by Dr. Lisa Reznik. We spent almost all day in GR, waiting and waiting (before Pumpkin was discharged) .. since AEH was quite busy and we totally understood. On what was one of the busiest days for them over Memorial Day weekend, they got my 6 mo old puppy in, diagnosed, and discharged in 6 hours. Everyone was so kind and caring and Dr. Reznick took time to call me herself. They even had a second to tell me how cute and what a good boy our fur baby had been! Thank you AEH!

Staff was kind, courteous and explained what was going on with our dog. They took great care of her in an emergency situation ( consumed rat poison).

We recently visited for our first time last week when our dog had a stroke. Not only were they the only place able to get us in at midnight but they were actually very quick about it. The staff there is amazing, very caring and professional about everything. They provided a private room for us a few different times so we could visit while our girl stayed for a couple days and always told us to take as much time as we needed, never once did we feel rushed. I can not express how much I appreciate all of the employees that we met while our dog, Tyson was a patient. Sadly, we had to make the hard decision to let him go and every single person that we came in contact with was so kind and understanding of our situation. They even let us bring our other dog in to say good bye to her brother. Tyson received the best care possible. Thank you Animal Emergency Hospital for doing everything you could possibly do for our sweet boy and treating him like the little prince that he was. ❤️
