RecommendedI was visiting from Ohio and needed emergency services for my Lacy. The young lady at check in was verry courteous and explained the steps they take and assured me they would keep in contact with me. I thought ya sure, doesn't happen. But to my surprise they kept in constact contact. Called me before they did anything and then let me me know the results. The entire staff (all levels) were so helpful and well informed. this place is great! My pug mix had an emergency with a bee sting and they kept him alive overnight and knew almost instantly what his problem was. He had gone into severe shock from the sting. I am so grateful for the way they took care of him right away. I would recommend this place to anyone who had an emergency with their pet any time of the day or night. Open 24 hours and holidays. I still have my pug best friend because they were there and took fantastic care of him. The staff is terrific!

My husband and I were on vacation and had to bring our boy in for care. The staff was wonderful and kept us informed. They were very caring and when we got home our personal vet concurred with the care. Thank you for watching over our Mario!
Took great care of our dog and eventually was diagnosed with cancer. (Likely) Very caring. Many calls during the 12 hours they had him. Lots of info and kind helpful suggestions. Thorough details for his discharge and care instructions going forward. May have to wait longer during Covid but they triage in order of severity. Wonderful kind female doctor.

I cannot recommend AEH enough!!!! I am a family medicine doctor visiting from Florida, and my sweet pomeranian decided to eat a bunch of sand from Lake Michigan and ended up with a small bowel impaction. The entire team was professional from the start - if they were certified in human medicine, I would hire any of them at my own clinic!!! This place is great! We brought our Golden Quincy in for some issues and they helped us out. Very friendly doctors and staff. It's really nice to have that when you're worried about your furry family member. We were really worried about how much everything was going to cost but it wasn't as bad as we thought it was going to be especially during a holiday weekend. Thank you to the people who helped us at the Animal Emergency Hospital.
