RecommendedWe had good timing so we got in right away. Staff were kind and caring. I appreciated the Provider offering options as far as testing since our dog was stable. Waiting area is spacious and comfortable and you are given the option to leave and come back if you prefer. I am used to being with my dog during her exam so it was a little strange to be out in the waiting room. It seems like I could be a good source of information since my pet can’t talk. Humans are allowed to have someone with them in the ER. Just a thought…
Wednesday we came home to our ferret, Carbon, not moving and unresponsive, in a shock like state and shaking and couldn’t move. After calling prices for over an hour we finally got hold of this place. After the 1.5 hour drive, we were brought in for our Carbon to be taken back immediately. Absolutely wonderful experience. Christmas Day I had an emergency with my shih tzu. They got him in right away, took care of surgery, provided all the meds we needed. The staff was phenomenal and they were able to save his eyesight. Everyone was more than helpful and comforting and accommodating to me during the stressful wait.
Extremely clean and efficient practice. Very caring staff. Very knowledgeable vet on duty when we came in. We live in Kalamazoo and will probably just make the drive up from now on. So much happier with the service given.

My little dog went in at 3am for symptoms of sand impaction which she indeed had. At every level of our experience at the hospital, the staff was absolutely amazing. Professional, kind, patient, and very supportive! They were organized, busy with patients, and treated us so well! My only question is how did they do it?! I am incredibly thankful they are in my community.
Everyone was so friendly and caring. My cat received excellent care. I appreciated the text communication so I understood every step of the process. My little buddy was well taken care of and was treated quickly and efficiently. I love that they run like a people ER, seeing your non-emergent pets until they can be seen between emergent patients. When our vet office is closed and does not do after hour emergencies, I had no idea where to go. Thank God I was given the number for AEH. Our 3 year old dog, Archie was stressing out with an infection causing him a lot of pain. It was worth the 75 mile drive one way to find someone to calm him down and find the issue causing his pain. We dropped him off at 11pm, got a call around 3am with the suggested treatment plan and a call close to 6am that we could come pick him up.
