Get directionsI got to the Animal Emergency hospital around 5am with my dog whom had just been attacked, his eyeball was hanging out of the socket and he was in excruciating pain! They made it sound like he was going to get surgery right away, they informed me his surgery wouldn’t be finished until late afternoon so I should go home and get some sleep. It wasn’t until 8am when they called me and said he was going to lose his eye and that he needed surgery then they proceeded to tell me they needed $1,200 deposit in order to even start the... read more

Navaeh, We are hopeful that Fenrir is feeling his best during his recovery. I have sent you a direct email addressing your concerns but wanted to recap the following information: 1.) Fenrir received pain relief and antibiotics within 20 minutes of his presentation at our clinic. 2.) You are correct that we needed a financial commitment from you prior to providing his surgery. This policy is not unique to you and is something we ask of all our clientele. You signed acknowledgement of approval of this policy when completing ... read more

Put profit ahead of animals welfare. We do not use anything but cash or check. I had money in bank account and could prove it, they would take check for exam, but not for c-section, even though I could prove money was there. We are now sitting at the VCA hospital in Kalamazoo getting our c-section. They will take our check. Animal Emergency Hospital had very poor customer service. We were not the only family getting turned away. People were angry. No other place to go for a c-section late evening. DO NOT GO HERE!
Business response:
Marta, thank you for taking the time to provide us a review of your visit. We so sincerely hope that Josey has made a full recovery of her visit. I wanted to clarify the forms of payment that we accept: cash, personal check up to $500, all major credit cards, CareCredit, and Scratchpay. These payment expectations are not unique to you and are what we ask of all our clientele. I am sorry that you were unable to find one of these payment forms acceptable, but am so thankful you were able to find a place that was able to work w... read more
When we took my daughter's less than 3 month old puppy there because he was attacked by another dog and had his eye ball hanging from the socket they made him wait over 3 hours to get pain medication and it took them over 6 hours to perform surgery on his eye which they wouldn't do until we gave them $1200 for the deposit they claim they couldn't save his eye. I'm no vet, but if you wait 6 hours to try to save it of course you're not gonna be able to save it. They also told her they take payments, but after the surgery they ... read more

Toni, we sincerely hope that Fenrir has made a full recovery after his accident. Fenrir received pain relief and antibiotics within 20 minutes of his arrival at our clinic. His eye was not salvageable due to the trauma he received and not due to the delayed surgery. Navaeh was informed of our payment policy both in writing and verbally. We hope for the best for both Fenrir and your family going forward.
Under the circumstances we had positive results.
Business response:
Thank you Rosalie! We hope Gunner is adjusting well at home. Please let us know if he needs anything else
We were on vacation when my dog, Magnus, got a bladder stone that caused a blockage. This was the only 24 hour emergency vet I could find within hours of where we were. I brought him in and they saved my baby!
Business response:
Thank you for your kind review, Jill! We are so happy we were able to take care of you and Magnus. We hope he continues to recover well at home!
My mom’s dog got into a fight with a porcupine. He had so many quills in his mouth, that I couldn’t see his tongue, or even inside his mouth. He also had them on the outside of his face, chest, legs, in his armpits, and everywhere else around his head and chest. We got him to the hospital around 7:30 pm. They gave him morphine, and left him laying on the floor until 4:30 am the next morning. That is 9 hours they left him laying there with a mouth full of quills. When they were done, they sent him home without doing an ... read more

My dog got ahold of a baby squirrel and was cut in her face/nose area. The bleeding wasn’t stopping and my vet said to take her here. When we arrived, I had to stay in the car and text a number - apparently due to COVID protocols. It sent me to a website with a litany of questions. Once I was done with that, it sent me to another website with more questions. It asked me multiple times the reason I was there, then things like what kind of treats my dog eats, and asked for a profile picture and permission to share it on s... read more

14 hour wait, very expensive, vets seem to be just out of school.
