Our poor chihuahua Charity unfortunately won't make it but it brings us comfort that the people at Animal Emergency Center of Killeen were able to help her transition to help end her suffering. Thank you for your professionalism and care for our cherished family member.
Had a wonderful experience with them when my cat had a UTI. Had a significantly less pleasant time tonight when we brought our older male cat to be euthanized because he was losing his battle with leukemia and we wanted to offer him some grace and dignity. Our cat was screaming in pain and the supervisor Deborah thought she needed to come in and question what had been going on like we were hurting our car despite us having checked in with the receptionist for euthanasia. We were told that his screaming was disrupting a dog i... read more

We thank you for bringing this to our attention. Your feedback is being taken seriously to ensure it is addressed internally.
This place cares NOTHING for pets just profit. My dog had birthing complications and needed a c section, they quoted me 3700 paid BEFORE any services. I had 1800 and offered to pay the rest in 2 weeks A FLAT NO. She had to be euthanized.
Business response:
We’re truly sorry for your loss and heartbroken to hear what you went through. We understand how devastating it is to be in an emergency situation and feel like there are no options. Please know that your experience deeply matters to us, and we never want any pet parent to feel unsupported during such a critical moment. If you’re open to it, we’d still welcome the opportunity to speak further and work toward a better understanding.
These "vets" are in major violation of hypocritic oath first do no harm yet they wont even see animals unless they have payments up front. Do not recommend to anyone in fact they should all loose their license
Business response:

We tried to take our dog there last night but no one was there. The hours say they are open, we rang the doorbell multiple times and called the number with no answer. We ended up driving to temple.
Unfortunately, my visit wasn't the best. Understaffed and the Vet spent little time with our pet. We chose to take our pet to our local vet, because of the service. Charged an extra $22.00 for a cardboard thing that goes around a cat's neck. I wasn't even informed that I would be charged for this useless item. You won't, as they will email you later with an invoice with no notes and will not answer your questions! I have been in this area since 2005. This place is at your mercy, or "peace of mind" only! Thumbs down... read more
Brought my dog in with obvious swelling and pain and they refuse to do any further testing. The swelling irrupt it into a small abrasion so I was told to put ointment on the abrasion and my concerns regarding the swelling and potential infection were dismissed. I called back to discuss with the office manager who then told me it would be $65 to be rechecked. Everything I see online and from my history working with animals would indicate that an anabiotic would be necessary. The ointment I was provided was absolutely useless ... read more
Business response:
Haven of Hope—we apologize for your frustrations with our services. Our Regional Manager and Medical Director reviewed your dog’s history and believe a medically sound treatment plan was recommended. Animax, the antibiotic prescribed, is widely used for injuries of this nature. We recommended rechecking your dog if there was no improvement, which, you declined. We are truly sorry your fur baby took a little longer to heal.
Good Service is so important when you are in destress about your Fur Babies!!! I received less than mediocre service last night for my fur baby. The Vet was rude did nothing to help me and charged me for service that I did not receive. Thank God for the wonderful front desk clerk. She helped me find a Walgreens to purchase Meds to help my fur baby. Dr. Amanda Jones DVM. was rude and heartless. She should have more compassion for those of us that come in seeking care for our babies. The office is clean and very spac... read more
