My dog is dead because of this location. On March 25, 2023 at approx 1:15pm I brought my dog Abi there in an emergency situation. My dog collapsed in my back yard, could not walk/ stand, had sudden bloating of the abdomen and discoloration on her abdominal skin. I told this too the receptionist and I was told I needed to go to another location because they were at capacity. Why the receptionist wanted to know what was wrong with my dog when she was going to send me away to another location is beyond me. I understand that pla... read more

DO NOT take your loved pet here! They missed a broken leg on x-ray, they were NOT capable of taking correct x-rays to diagnose my dog's fractured leg. Ive called and emailed, they do NOT care to make it right!!!😡

My experience is twofold. Dr Bachman was fantastic along with the early morning staff. In an emergency situation I am glad they were there to help! I can’t say the same about Dr Amy. I have never been so upset with the quality of care and concern for my pet, she missed the mark in several ways. She was rude and impatient with no compassion. And what I hated most about Remy’s stay was the complete lack of basic hygiene that she received while there. For 30 hours she sat with her entire backside covered in thick dried blood... read more

Absolute garbage my dog needed to be seen and was brought there at 10 o’clock in the morning, it 6 o’clock at night and they haven’t even touched her. She was attacked by another dog and needed stitches but it’s OK for them to charge us over $600 and do nothing all day. WORST vet clinic ever. can’t believe this place used to be the back up vet for dog at my old job.

Business response:

We apologize for being less than perfect last Saturday. Fortunately for Lacy, she was very stable. Unfortunately, we were overwhelmingly busy and she was triaged behind the more critical pets. She did receive pain meds and antibiotics and we refunded you when you decided to take her somewhere else. Nevertheless, we understand why you're upset and we hope Lacy is doing well.

This place is a straight waste of money and time. Can only talk to the vet for a few minutes then refuse to come back and talk. Vet has no bed side manner and told me dog had to be euthanized. Took my dog to a reputable vet and said I absolutely shouldn't put my dog down. Had surgery and now perfectly fine. This place is garbage, avoid at all cost.

I took my dog to have her R hind leg looked at because she had an open wound but my dog wasn’t examine but I was charged an exam fee. I was told $80 was for walking in the front door! I did wait in an exam room almost 2 hours for them to tell me that my dog needed stitches but it was non emergent so I’d have to leave her overnight which would be an extra cost and was quoted over $800! Dr Elizabeth Gray walked into the exam room didn’t touch my dog just walked to the computer and started giving me prices for what she said I’d... read more

Business response:

Athena received a complete physical exam (including vitals) by a nurse and was then assessed by a doctor who offered treatment options. We are an emergency facility and must triage cases. Athena was the most stable patient in our facility at the time. We apologize for your wait time, but other critical patients needed attended to first.
