We went to Anthony's on the Lake for the first time last night, it was a wonderful experience all around. First of all, the views of the lake are gorgeous, and the tables are spaced out well and nicely set. There was a live band playing, who we wanted to see, an acoustic trio called Pet Rock who we have seen perform at other venues, and they were excellent as usual. Extremely mismanaged and chaotic! Excited to go to see the Beatles cover band, made reservations on line. We were sat at a table in the corner on the grass with no umbrella in 87 degree sunny weather, and pretty much the only table without an umbrella or a table number! They claimed they would get an umbrella but had no bases. So if that wasn’t bad enough, we sat there for 40 minutes with not one waiter apparently assigned to us! I have to say… I am so pleased with everything about Anthony’s on the Lake. We originally went there because they had live music and knew they are following all precautions with the virus. The tables were well spread and there is a plastic barrier between the music and the people. I was quite surprised at how delicious the food was. I have been there two or three times now and every time the food is just better and better. And I have to say the cocktails were fabulous.
