I got pushed on dr marquart because my doctor left the practice, so she seemed to not care, said take this med, which I had taken before and didn't work. Said that was all she could do. Needless to say I didn't go back.
Would not recommend. She was very robotic in nature and was more interested in prescribing me medication to mask symptoms rather than to find the answer to my problem. Most of the visit, she spent transcribing rather than talking to me. Saw this provider 3 times and never did she once examine me. Interestingly enough, I switched all my care to U of M and all of my tests that were positive when I saw this provider are now negative.
Very short and lacks a Humanistic approach to her patients. Did not try and figure out what the problem was, just said it wasn’t something and sent me on my way. Was not happy w this doc and will not return. Spent approximately 7 minutes w me. Never cared to listen to what my concerns were, just that I didn’t show physical symptoms.
My sister and I are very close and she went to see Dr. Marquardt for chronic joint pain she has been having (she's 32 so this is quite unusual) and upon her visit with Dr. Marquardt, she was told that x-rays would be a "waste of time because my sister is so thin" and that based on her symptoms she was just going to prescribe her some medication. My sister has been dealing with these symptoms for months on end now and finally got in to see this doctor, and she was VERY unkind. Would NOT recommend
