My mom is in the memory care unit at AGV. She has had the best care, love and support from staff. I couldnt ask for a better group of people to continue caring for her. Highly recommend Arbor Grove Village.
I went there for rehab several years ago. The staff were overworked and under trained. The socal worker was horrible. She asked as though she had all the authority to run the facility when all she had a bachelors degree in social worker. When it came to discharge nothing was prepared such as a shower chair, a cane and support services such as an home aide even though she was adamant that all I to go and get it. Worst place you could send your love one to.. the best thing we did was move my grandmother out of this hell-hole, she was neglected so many times and zero communication to family of any changes. Do NOT send your love ones here, I shared my grandmother's experience to several Ladies at the assistant living in Greensburg and highly advised them to stay away from this place. The Indiana State should shut them down.
Facility is clean no bad smells. Food is very good and there are subsitution menu if needed. Staff is tremendous, caring and respectful. I would highly recommend Arbor Grove in Greensburg, IN
Zero communication. If you have family here don't count on knowing anything important happening because they don't contact POA for change of conditions, med changes, labs being ordered, lab results, appointments made or changed. Leave voicemails and nobody calls back. Floors nurses apparently don't have assessment skills, nor communication skills or no report with their patients/residents. Management doesn't return calls.
