They have an excellent staff, very friendly and attentive to their residents. They are always looking at ways to have residents engage in activities. Very nice facility, dining room, pool patio, lounge and library.
My Mom has been cared for like family almost 8 years at Arbor Terrace Citrus Park. The grounds are beautiful, continually updated and maintained. Everywhere you can go or see indoors is the highest quality, up to date decor, good clean color and lighting that brings a sense of calm and comfort. I couldn't be more grateful to have my Mom cared for by the staff who have made a difference for her and so many others that I've had a chance to meet while visiting. After several site visits to facilities in Northeast Pinellas (Clearwater/Safety Harbor/Palm Harbor) and in Northwest Hillsborough, I selected the Evergreen (Alzheimer's) Unit at Arbor Terrace Citrus Park for my father. He has been in their great care for 5 months now, and our entire family is very pleased with all they do for him. Can't speak for how the staff feel...my grandfather is living here after the passing of my grandmother and seems to be really cared for. Every staff member we have encountered has a smile on their face and says hello or stops by to talk to my grandfather and know him by name. They put on many events each day and have themes. It seems that many residents enjoy playing along with the games or sitting and listening to the music. I visited this facility Arbor Terrace of Citrus Park was a very new facility. You feel like you’re in a five-star hotel when you walk in. It is absolutely beautiful, and everything is updated with the latest décor. I did not see a menu, but I went in the dining area of the regular assisted living facility, and I thought that I was on a cruise ship. It was just absolutely beautiful. The rooms were very nice. I am a friend or relative of a resident My mom is in Arbor Trace at Citrus Park. It is a very nice, upscale place. It looks more like a hotel than an old folks' home. The food is good. The help is wonderful and well-staffed with a good ratio of caregivers to patients. They have three different levels of care, including memory care and assisted living; Mom goes to memory care. I was a former employee of arbor terrace a caregiver and as a care giver at arbiter terrace it was very stressful. I enjoyed my residents but the upper management dose not care about there employees well at least in my opinion they don't care about the African American employees I felt uncomfortable at times and very under paid. I was hired on as a med tech and they told me they couldn't take my med tech certificate even though it was a updated certificate from my original.
