My Mom has lived at Arbor Terrace Decatur for almost a year now and we could not be happier. Every staff member I have met has been delightful and attentive. There is a wall of portraits showing only staff who have worked there for at least 8 years. I'd say there are at least 30 photos. Staff at AT go out of there way to make sure my Mom is safe and happy. The activities are fun and designed to help those with memory loss retain cognitive function. I placed my father in assisted living here and he was there for almost 2 years. The first few months were OK but it's steadily declined from that point forward. They did not care for my father. They pretty much left him in his room to rot. The food is almost an edible as I had to order him DoorDash, at least five times a week, hire outside care to come in for 10 hours a week because he was just not getting any attention.
