I went on a tour with my sister about a month ago as we are looking for the appropriate place for my aunt. Maryam Toler who escorted us through the facility answered all our questions while explaining the amenities and services offered. Both my sister and I were pleasantly surprised by the attention and care rendered at Arbor for the residents. When the time is right Arbor is at the top of our list for Aunt Jane.

Arbor Terrace Mountainside is an Assisted Living community. I've been with the Arbor company for over a year now and it has been a pleasure leading such a dedicated team and providing them with daily leadership to provided our residents with the highest quality of care.

Very nice facility. The two-bedroom units are amazing. But, a one bedroom is much smaller in every respect and disappointing by comparison.
My father and his wife lived here for 1 1/2 years. In the beginning we were very pleased. But as my dad and his wife declined, so did the care they provided. Many times I would see the aides talking amongst themselves, sitting in the back of a room and not engaging the residents, who so desperately need attention. My dad's wife was frail and weak from her illnesses and the aides never seemed to help her navigate her way through the dining room to her seat. I would give no stars. My mother lived here for just over a year. They have 2 aids and a nurse for the entire floor. I witnessed many incidents of residents being neglected, particularly after dinner until bedtime when there were few or no family members to see what went on. The 2 aids would be sitting away from the residents ignoring them even when the residents requested assistance.
