I expected much better from Arhaus, especially given their premium pricing. We ordered purple dinnerware in person, but the sales associate mistakenly ordered blue. When the dishes arrived, I assumed correcting their mistake would be straightforward. Unfortunately, it's been anything but. Absolutely stunning showroom and beautifully curated pieces to embrace the Marin and surrounding areas, with the greens, browns, and beiges complementing the local landscape. That is unfortunately where the beauty of the brand dies. The store is new and attractive. Product quality is shoddy, and customer service is abysmal. We ordered an upholstered living room chair, and when it arrived (after a $379 delivery fee!) the back cushion had not been sewn correctly. That's when we discovered that the company doesn't care about solving such problems. First, the sales person said he couldn't help, we'd need to call the corporate "concierge." Arhaus Corte Madera was one of the most frustrating furniture buying experiences I’ve had, especially for a brand that presents itself as luxury. One of our orders was entered incorrectly by the salesperson and was sent to their showroom instead of our home. This was entirely their mistake, yet we were the ones left dealing with the consequences. We had to pay an additional $300 and wait another month just to get it shipped to the correct location. After spending 30 minutes on a sofa making sure it’s comfortable before buying, a member of the staff comes to me and says bluntly: “hey man, it’s time to leave the store”. I never felt so devalued. FWIW the sofa was comfortable (coburn recliner) and I did want to buy it. Not anymore unfortunately :(
