Well, for a first visit. Timing was good. I'm having a pretty serious reaction to allergies. My eyes have burned so bad it's hard to keep them open. Supposedly, a prescription was ordered to help with that. The prescription wasn't ordered. So I've spent a miserable weekend. I was initially seen at the urgent Care. I didn't realize that urgent Care was shorthand for we don't do anything but refer you. So I came away from there for a miserable weekend. How do you do that this time, again, nothing done. Dr and medical staff was amazing in person. However, I am trying to find the right contact lenses prescription and have called multiple times and have gotten no call back. I did speak to someone on the 3rd call and they let me know that trials were ordered but there were 2 orders and I know one won’t work. If they would just call and talk to the patient and let them know what is being done, it would prevent extra work and wait. Went for a “follow up” following surgery “. Have been including my wife in all my appointments to have a 2nd set of ears to hear all conversations. It is recommended that you always have someone present with you in every appointment. You may otherwise find yourself being told something was not said by the doctor, or you misheard what was said. The scheduling department is a joke. No help at all. There was no integrity or empathy received during my call and im still in need of scheduling an appointment.
I would like to thank Dr.Brems and the office staff at Arizona Eye Specialist for removing my cataracts and restoring my vision. My left eye was 20-50, and my right was 20-40. They just completed my right eye; it was blurry at first, but after a couple of days, the right eye is clear enough to not were my glasses. I can't wait till they fix the left eye in another 2 weeks. I should be able to throw my glasses away. Everyone is very friendly and efficient. I recommend them highly.
