Had cataract surgery almost four years ago, the result was that I ended up incredibly farsighted. Fortunately I had passed my DOT physical just prior, so I was able to keep my job for two more years. Recently I had sudden loss of vision in one eye so I contacted them to see if the lens installed had come off. They exhibited absolutely no concern for the patient or potential permanent loss of vision and refused to schedule an appointment due to a balance that our insurance never paid. I visited this office in January for a cyst removal in my tear duct. On a positive note, Dr. Kanyinda and his assistant did a great job with the surgery itself. However, shortly after the procedure, I began experiencing significant irritation in the same eye — symptoms including inflammation, puffiness, redness, and a burning sensation. I called Dr. Kanyinda’s technician to report these symptoms. She told me it was simply “dry eyes” and insisted it had nothing to do with the surgery. My recent appointment was with Dr. James Koster at Arizona Eye Specialist. He has been my ophthalmologist for several years. From start to finish everything was professional, caring, and thorough. That is the why I schedule my eye appointments with the best in the valley.

Wait for it...... I loved the receptionist so sweet, and the M.A. was amazing! Yet after I was placed back in the room after pictures. I waited too long ( 45 minutes) to see Dr. K. I could hear him discussing with his staff on how to improve "lazer time and days". Dr. K. also seemed to be very impatient, and ready to leave before hearing me out.

I would like to thank Dr.Brems and the office staff at Arizona Eye Specialist for removing my cataracts and restoring my vision. My left eye was 20-50, and my right was 20-40. They just completed my right eye; it was blurry at first, but after a couple of days, the right eye is clear enough to not were my glasses. I can't wait till they fix the left eye in another 2 weeks. I should be able to throw my glasses away. Everyone is very friendly and efficient. I recommend them highly.
