The artthaus studios have been perfect for our young startup. It's a creative building with good accommodations that we feel proud to meet clients at. The loading dock and wide hallways and doors to our suite have been useful for us to bring in inventory. Great internet, windows that open in our suite for natural light and fresh air. I lived in this studio for a year, and everything was fine until it was time to move out. When I requested my security deposit back, I was unexpectedly charged a $355 cleaning fee--even though the lease clearly stated a one-time cleaning fee of $100. I've been trying to get the overcharge refunded, but they've only given me excuses. Please be cautious and review your lease carefully if you decide to rent here.
It was not a joyful occasion (repass after funeral) but the venue once you get inside was incredible. Meeting Rooms & work spaces surrounded by creativity & art. Parking was horrible so go early if you have an event there. Neighborhood is not great so I did not take the offer for overflow parking a few blocks away. Artthaus Studios is a workspace for anyone in the community to rent out for a place of their own to work out of. There is also a private parking lot here, so it is convenient. I was only using the coworking space, while waiting for my car to get cleaned/detailed, so I did not really get the whole experience of the area/space, but from the photos it looks pretty spacious. Really enjoyed the quite, spacious, and artsy space to do remote work for the day. Meeting rooms worked great for conference calls and various floors to change up the scenery. Coffee and tea complimentary with vending machine snacks. A fridge is also available with reusable plates, mugs, and utensils. Will certainly come back next time I'm in the area!
Artthaus has a great staff and have grown over there years. I've been here for over two years and adjusted my leasing over the years. The spaces are encased in a very esthetically pleasing environment and the neighborhood of tenants are great.
If this place doesn't make you want to tap into your creativity then I don't know what will! I love it here, the vibe is everything! Such a beautiful building filled with nothing but art! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for some motivation! I just wanted to thank Bora, this is my first place I've leased and I couldn't be happier with how fast the process was! I recommend Bora for your leasing needs! She's the best!! I can't wait to see what Artthaus has in store :)
I recently started a business and Artthaus was my first official work space outside of my house. It's a beautiful place with a lot of friendly people and all the amenities and utilities are here! Including a shower! It's a super clean place and Maria, the cleaning lady, is such a friendly lady. I'm gonna miss her. When it came time to set up our new venture, myself and my business partners decided it was time to make Oakland our home. We came upon Artthaus after looking at properties in Jack London Square and downtown Oakland and settled at Artthaus for a number of reasons.
