Constantly charged more for products than their advertised price on the shelf! Basically you are getting ripped off! Chicken advertised at £2.14 got charged £2.40 The week before Oreo double pack advertised at £1.74 got charged £1.95
Absolutely shocking experience at ASDA today (26/11/2025 between 6:30–7:00 PM). I went to the store, picked up my products, PAID for everything, and was quietly walking out — when a staff member from the checkout area suddenly came up to me, snatched my bag out of my hand, and started accusing me of stealing. Today I was shopping with my two autistic children and I asked a staff member to help me scan the items because I was struggling. Unfortunately, she missed several items during the scan, and then told security that I hadn’t paid for them. This put me in a very embarrassing and stressful situation, especially as I rely on support when shopping with my children. Asda has everything you need from fresh food, to groceries, kitchenware, DIY stuff, clothing, fresh bakery, hot deli. Customer service could be better and a bit more friendlier, but a other than that, it was a decent experience. They have pharmacy and click & collect which both are located at the front of the store at the entrance. Also they have big car park, with a petrol pump and McDonald’s located on site.
Normally have great delivery from Asda themselves - but ASDA Express delivery is anything but Express. My delivery was between 3pm and 4pm, but the Uber driver delivering was an hour and a half late. When I called him at 4.30, I got the impression that he only told me he was on the way *because* I had called to ask where my shopping was.
