Normally have great delivery from Asda themselves - but ASDA Express delivery is anything but Express. My delivery was between 3pm and 4pm, but the Uber driver delivering was an hour and a half late. When I called him at 4.30, I got the impression that he only told me he was on the way *because* I had called to ask where my shopping was. Today I was shopping with my two autistic children and I asked a staff member to help me scan the items because I was struggling. Unfortunately, she missed several items during the scan, and then told security that I hadn’t paid for them. This put me in a very embarrassing and stressful situation, especially as I rely on support when shopping with my children. I use this store regularly, at least twice a week. Parent and toddler parking is horrendous to the point even staff members on shift are parking in a child space which I think is an absolute joke. The store itself is good.
Asda has everything you need from fresh food, to groceries, kitchenware, DIY stuff, clothing, fresh bakery, hot deli. Customer service could be better and a bit more friendlier, but a other than that, it was a decent experience. They have pharmacy and click & collect which both are located at the front of the store at the entrance. Also they have big car park, with a petrol pump and McDonald’s located on site.
I bought a broccoli from Asda abbey park and I can see few live worms. To go paperless I didn’t choose receipt and though the Asda label is seen the staff want receipt to do anything which is total bullshit. Wouldn’t recommend this store
