Went to the Asda petrol station at 0:01am on Sunday 4th January 2026. Closed with no attendants, a gentleman using self service pump said "they went around the corner". I waited and waited. Eventually 2 "attendants" (could have been 1 attendant and his friend, because 1 guy stayed in the back) stumbled back to the garage smelling like cannabis, by this time there was a decent queue of people at the serving hatch. Absolutely disgusting! 0/5

It's ok as long as there's no queue, if there is you have to wait until the correct side becomes available and you can keep other users behind waiting which is stressful. Usually if it busy I'll go somewhere else. When it's ok to use everything is simple and easy so I'm generally happy and it's often the cheapest fuel in Bristol.

So basically went for my usual fill, inserted my car and allowed to refuel. Done! And drove away. 2 weeks later, a letter arrives stating I have paid, plus they charge for admin fee. I was debating with that I'm happy to pay the actual sum without their stupid admin fee. In the end I was referred to debt collector. Ended paying about £190. One can imagine if someone was going through some hardship how this might cause more grief. ASDA BASICALLY STOLE MY MONEY DUE TO THEIR FAULTY MACHINE

Tonight i have to buy a Calpol for my kids the seller didn’t give me he asked to prove your id. We was to people me and my cousin we show them ours ID i was over 18 and cousin was 17 he didn’t serve. His reaction was rude.

Went in there today to pay for fuel and get a meal deal. A big cage next to the sandwiches blocking access to the fridge. Lady behind the counter refused to help move it, instead watched a customer try and move it as no other choice, whilst getting shouted at for trying to 'separate' the cages. Surely a health and safety risk? The rudest sales assistant I think I've ever encountered in a store, how she got hired I do not know!
