Strange store. In many ways great, easy access, large, caters for most aspects including home goods - along with a good food range. The bakery is totally naff, not a notch on the likes of Morrisons or Sainsburys. Fresh bread is trully awful, it needs a complete overhaul. Fair enough the baguettes maybe ok but the loaves are long life type breads, that weird texture, almost rubbery and hard - better just getting the normal Warbatons fare.
What the hell? PL6 5SB 07:30 banging, slamming and clattering, throwing baskets into the van, no care or thoughts for anyone, good job eh! While the work involved is appreciated, the obvious unwanted noise echoing on the stillness of early morning is not welcomed or appreciated.
I recently had a one of the worst customer experiences at this store. My partner and I recently purchased a blender on 10/10/25, and it broke less than two weeks later 22/10/25. When we went to the customer service desk to exchange it, we were “greeted” by a colleague named Danielle, who was rude from the start. There was no hello or offer of an apology or help, just a blunt “right, what do you want? Great Store. The Store Manager is Brilliant, always helpful and has time for a quick chat. Security staff during the week are always friendly.
I'm only giving 1 star as Karl was very helpful and polite. My son and I shopped in the plymouth store this evening around 7pm .after putting shopping away we decided to buy the large storage boxes. As there was only self service tills open i picked up the boxes 3 which were stacked together. I thought i scanned bar code 3 time then hit pay .I paid by card and went .the rude lady went straight to my till pressed button and shouted you only paid for 1 .and told me come back you got three and they stacked.
