Still mourning the loss of the Co-op here but I can see why they left with all of the crazy aggressive shoplifting that goes on at this shop. Asda is so poor in every way however and every visit is a drag in terms of choice. Lots of people complaining about staff however and in the main they are actually lovely and really helpful. There’s a guy on at night who serves at the window and he is indeed the rudest and angriest man I have ever encountered.

On Mon 22nd December 2025 I went to return an item that I ordered from Amazon. Upon presenting the parcel to a male assistant, who just told me to 'go to the other side', perhaps pointing to the self-service machine for scanning the QR code in order to print off a return label. I was unsure if I should be using the machine but after about 3 minutes I then called out to a female store assistant for help, who asked 'What is it?' then rudely said 'you can't use that machine, that is for Evri parcels, OK!' The staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant; although the item I wanted wasn't on the shelves, they promptly retrieved it from the warehouse for me.

I went to main entrance the lady was soo rude and she said to go through the other side when i went there stood there for 5 minutes then i knock on mirror to get the attention from the person who was on till . He completely ignored and when he turns up to me he said i have two hands . But i was the first person in the queue. When i said is this is the way to talk to customers and he left the tills and walked away. You can check CCTV at 11:30pm 31Oct 2025. What a Useless service . Very disappointed
