During my initial visit to her office, I found Dr. Nelson to be professional, competent, and poised. I felt like she totally understood my health concerns, and I'm very happy to be in her care. Most recently, I contracted Covid (over a weekend), called the office on a Sunday, and the Paxlovid was prescribed and picked up that afternoon! I say the Dr. is a saint!

My care at St. Agnes was just above "County". While the Orthopedic clinic was great, my primary doctor, Ashley Nelson and her staff were not. I had problems with everything: messing up appts, messing up medications, given the wrong information, not requesting my medical records, not knowing my medical history at appts., unqualified medical decisions. That being said, there really is not an outstanding medical facility in the Central Valley unless one goes to Kaiser and they aren't rated much higher.

This is the worst non caring doctor we have ever experienced. My partner had been vomiting all night. He is a 74 year old gentleman. I called the on call doctor at 10 pm and he advised us to call the office in the morning to get in and see the doctor. When I called she would not speak to us on the phone and directed us to go to the emergency room. According to her staff she only does preventative care. My question, why have a doctor if they don’t have the courtesy of a phone call.

Both my husband and I find Dr. Nelson thorough, insightful and caring. She spends all the time we need with her whenever we see her and she is very responsive to our inquiries. We are treated like smart people, individually and together.

Can never get in if I don’t feel well , even if it’s something simple.! Told me to my face they don’t see sick patients, they needed to go to ER or urgent care or a video visit . I told her that was ridiculous , she was supposed to care for her patients instead acts very distant and uninterested .
