Awful! These people made a critical oversight.  Clearly said on my son's paperwork he brought in with him that he had an adverse reaction to the med the nurse at Athena prescribed.  I called back to express concern the same day he had the appointment.  A few more messages and days later, the nurse's med assistant informed us she said she did see that note from the previous Dr and test, but it wasn't mentioned during the consult (which was all of 10 minutes), so she didn't feel comfortable changing her Rx.  He'd need to come... read more

I came to this location for a full testing/assessment. My first meeting to discuss all the things went amazing. I felt so heard and understood. I have had therapy before and tried testing at another business, and have never felt as good as I did after this ONE meeting. Fast forward to testing, and that went great, too. Went to them to have our son assessed— we thought for a variety of different conditions. Instead, they were very limited in how they evaluated him. The results did not accurately reflect him at all — it was like receiving an assessment of a totally random child. We’ve clarified with teachers that the findings in their report are entirely inaccurate. I wanted more insight into my son — that was not delivered at all. I had my first meeting with this caregiver. I told him immediately upon meeting him that I am EXTREMELY hard of hearing. I reminded him and apologized to him several times during the conversation. He has a fairly thick accent, which worsens the hearing problem. At one point he stopped and looked up at me and said, "Do you wear hearing aids?"
