I was disappointed with the assessment experience. The scheduled 45-minute appointment with the doctor was significantly shorter, lasting less than 15 minutes. During this time, I felt the interaction was somewhat judgmental, and there was little effort to understand or get to know my background. Additionally, I had traveled two hours for an in-person appointment, but I was informed it would now be conducted virtually, which I found disrespectful of my time. As a Veteran and Fire Department public servant, I've been down this road before. This organization and my person have been great. I let chance line me up with a random person, I was referred from the VA, and chance worked out. If you are struggling, and you are reading this, call this place. Very amazing place. Everyone is so helpful and kind. I had issues paying my first visit and they were flexible so that I could keep my appointment. I had issues with my prescription and they were quick to fix it, the communication and kindness is out of this world!
Athena Care has an incredible care team and supporting staff - it’s by far the best experience my family has ever had with a medical provider.
