Extremely frustrating experience with Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates – Windy Hill. I called multiple times throughout the day and no one ever answered the phone. For a medical office, communication is very important, and it should not be this difficult to reach someone for basic questions or scheduling. It makes patients feel ignored and adds unnecessary stress when you’re just trying to get help. Very disappointing customer service in that regard.
Office literally never answers the phone after sitting on hold for 20 plus minutes. Left multiple voicemails for Dr Levines assistant, never called back. Pharmacy kept trying to contact them for a refill, they ignored it. I call to see what the problem is, after 20 mins of waiting I’m told I need to come in for an appointment. Why on earth didn’t you call me and tell me that? This office does the least, the laziness is honestly impressive. Stay away at all costs.
They switch and bait you. Came for a procedure. Told me they didn’t have the equipment for procedure and sent me to another doctor. I ended up getting a bill for this doctor for doing nothing. I got the charge dropped initially. Then they re-added the charge months later under a new “code” for New Patient. Don’t come here.
While the staff and Dr Levine are nice enough, the financial process is a boarder line scam. I called and setup an appointment with Dr. Levine for hemorrhoid issues and requested a Blanding service. Once day arrives and go to the office, they first had me pay a copay upfront and after checking me in (blood pressure and weight recorded) Dr. Levine tells me that he doesn't do Hemorrhoid banding anymore at his location and referred me to another location, which I went to and had to pay another copay. Very good experience with Dr Levine. Hes very detailed and caring and thorough. Staff Very pleasant.
