This location holds a special place in my heart. The team is always courteous, professional, and very friendly. I look forward to visits and have never had a single issue with my account, ordering a new card or checks, or any other service. Even the mobile app works very well. I would highly reccommend Austin Telco to anyone looking for a safe place to manage your finances, they really do treat you like family.
Only been with them a few months and have been very disappointed so far. Card doesn’t work at their ATMs but does everywhere else. Their cards once given to you aren’t usable for an hour, so just pause whatever else you were gonna do while in town. Not very friendly or extremely helpful at all. Just don’t really seem to know what they are doing. And whose atm doesn’t give exact amounts now days? Kinda need to update and keep up. Plus. Raven in the Austin Telco Federal Credit Union Lockhart location has gone way above and beyond to help me with several complicated situations that I have recently faced. I cannot rate her anything but a 5+++. She’ is competent, patient and very kind. She has been a joy to work with and has helped me resolve all my issues. Thank you Raven! Elizabeth has been a major help too. What great staff Telco has in this office!
Took me moving to another credit union to realize how absolutely terrible ATFCU is. Terrible interest rates on every type of savings account. No branches in other parts of Texas. Doesn't work with other credit unions. Very few free ATMs. Terrible customer service. Really just the absolute worst place to bank. They literally do nothing for their customers. 0.3% interest on money market accounts is actual robbery. Go to Randolph Brooks they are significantly better.
The Lockhart Telco branch has some of the best customer service I’ve come across at ATFCU. Elizabeth the assistant manager went above and beyond to assist me with my banking needs. She was patient and kind. The other tellers always thoroughly explain any questions I have. Even my elderly grandmother enjoys visiting the branch and never feels rushed. Glad to give my banking business to Lockhart’s Telco branch!
