I have known the owner (Brian) for years. I met him when he was at Steve’s in El Cerrito. Steve’s shop was one of the best! They were honest, they treated you well and Brian obviously took this excellent customer service with him to his new shop! I found out about it when I called Steve’s for an appointment and was told that Brian was no longer there because he had his own shop. I am so glad that they were kind enough to tell me where he was. Best and most informative auto repair place I've been to. He's always willing to explain and show exactly what's wrong -- at whatever level of detail we want -- and discuss options that best fit our goals for our cars.

There are very few honest mechanics left in the world. Brian is one of them. He's both a talented mechanic and won't try to sell you on anything you don't need. If you live close, I strongly recommend taking your car to him for regular maintenance. If you don't, I'd recommend him for a second opinion on expensive repairs.
