This company is disorganized and evasive in dealing with its customers. Everything is generated by email making matters worse! No phone calls no letters just buried emails requiring updates or information that if not received will add surcharges to your monthly invoice. BUYER BEWARE! This company is crooked from the word go! The agreed contract rate is not what you'll get. Your insurance won't be accepted and you WILL be charged a non insurance fee which will almost double your payment. NO ONE knows how to take that charge off. They Deserve a Triple S rating. SCAM. This 1 star in only there because I cannot leave any unchecked. In March of 2018, we entered into an Equipment financing agreement with Balboa Capital with Tye *******as the Sales Manager/Rep. He was persistent and after about 50 phone calls (even to my personal cell phone all the while using different phone numbers in order for me to answer the calls-SHADY) we finally decided that it would be time to enter into an agreement since the deals kept sounding better and better. DO NOT CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY. Nothing but thieves,scammers, whatever you wanna call it. They add fees and unsuspecting charges to your invoice every month and when you try to contact them, they ignore your calls and emails. Rating should be non existant! They don't deserve one star! Fraudulant parasite Company! I got a $61,000 dump truck. This dump truck is now a $96,621.00 loan. Never did they disclose that it would cost that much! We would have never agreed! Whn you get a loan you trust they do the right thing in lending.. well, lesson learned the hard way! We never chose to do business with Balboa. A local business sold their leases to Balboa - much to our horror. They need to have a negative 5 star rating. Balboa demands access to your bank account to draft payments. If you don't want to do that (we do not trust them) they hold your check for posting until the day after it is due so they THINK they can collect a late fee. They are intrusive and rude. After being contacted by a Breon Ricks of Balboa Capital, he decided to go onto my company google listing and leave a completely false and libelous review of my business. We have never engaged in business together in any manner. I have never talked to him, or responded to his unsolicited emails. This is a truly awful way to get the attention of a potential customer.
Balboa Capital reached out to us for assistance in help with purchasing a piece of equipment for our company. I thought we were getting a lease purchase agreement for the price of the equipment. That could not have been farther from the truth. Never did they suggest that I was buying a rental agreement for the equipment that we found, negotiated the price with the seller and paid the sales tax and titling fees for the equipment.
