I'm having a really .. bad experience with bamboo insurance , I have this insurance for my house , I have a water damage and when I called to report the adjuster name BRANDON , start to make every excuse that you can imagine saying that there is a lot people trying to scam the insurance , that maybe the damage was old , he send guys twice to cut drywall in 2 different places to see if there was any old damage , which they didn't find , so now he still making different excuses for my claim , this a really bad e... read more
I had an issue with my inground pools concrete as well as my pool filter cracked and they denied both aspects of the claim stating normal wear and tear for the filter and earth shifting for the concrete. I had appliance insurance that was supposed to cover any pool equipment for any kind of breakdown. They were happy to take my money every month but when a legitimate claim happened they are not there for you. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
I feel that Bamboo Insurance has not been equitable in their dealing with my insurance claim. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. I had a plumbing leak in my upstairs bathroom. After paying a plumber to immediately fix the leak, I filed a claim for the damages left to the ceiling on the lower floor. BAMBOO contracted the work out to companies that THEY chose (I did not get a choice). As a result, they came in and cut a massive 3x3 foot hole in my ceiling. Bad faith business practices! This insurance company left my family in a lurch and they are unwilling to work with them in coming to a solution. We're very disappointed!
I would never recommend this company. We had a slab leak at our house in December and Bamboo was very slow in getting things done. The first restoration company they sent didn’t do anything for a week and then sent one guy to dump all our furniture into one room, one over the other and causing further damage. We had to fire them and appoint another. The restoration company had a tough time getting approvals for demo and this delayed everything further. 33 days since my claim was reported. 21 days since the adjuster came out to view the claim. No calls, no emails, no communication. All we've been told is, "We are reviewing your case." Absolutely ridiculous. It shouldn't take over a month to get an answer on whether your claim is covered or not.
