I really appreciate Barr Tree Care and am glad I have them taking care of my property. Our trees are healthy and growing super well! Very pleased with them.
Barr Tree Care gave us great information and help, not a sales pitch. We had a tree not leafing out in June and had a different company look at it and tell us that it was likely dying and then was happy to quote us for injections, removal, and the cost of buying/installing a new tree. They couldn't even identify the tree type correctly which gave us reason to doubt their expertise. The best experience with tree removal company ever! The price estimate for 1 tree removal and 2 additional stumps was exceptional and even lower than a "guy from Craigslist" offered me before. The job was done in 2 hours and everything was cleaned up and nice. Stumps were ground out perfectly and deep enough and even the roots around it that were on top of the lawn surface were gone.
Excellent communication by Ron Barr. He came out quickly the next day to assess our tree's health. We received bad news for the tree in question in addition to another tree nearby that Ron assessed due to seeing the same issue. Nothing can be done to fix the trees; honest diagnosis.
Thought I had a dying 25 year old pin oak tree. Had Ron Barr come out to give an estimate to remove the tree. Instead, he indicated that my tree was suffering the affects of chlorosis, a yellowing condition between the leaf veins that can lead to the eventual decline of the tree. Was much cheaper to treat the chlorosis which I did last fall. Also had his team prune the tree, remove dead branches, top to bottom. This year - the results are in.
