This is such a gem. For drinks and evening bites it is totally charming. But the real win is the lunch time sandwiches served from the hatch with lots of other goodies. When chain stores knock out cold disgusting sandwiches for £7 these guys are a similar price point but with impeccable quality and great taste. Croque monsieur today was fresh and delicious. Staff are lovely and friendly as well. Love this place 😎

In love with Baudry Greene, as a French man, finding a delicious sandwich is impossible except there, a crusty bread, a delicious ham and nice butter, that’s it! Not only for that, there is small plate on the menu like my favorite soup, leek and potatoes with a dash of crème fraîche and few lardons! Cosy hybrid cafe by day/super cute cocktail bar from 5pm, with famous toasties and fine pastries, fairly priced. Good coffee, passable tea (posh teabags). Great snacks so a shame they don’t have better wine - for that you need to go next door to Ten Cases (which they also own). It’s tiny so booking essential. Service can be a bit stressy during transition from cafe to cocktail bar.
Exactly what you want in central London. Lovely simple but delicious food - with a warm atmosphere and great service. Very elegant without being snobby. I had the citron pressé and roast beef sandwich which was delicious. Plus very reasonably priced for what it is.
