I'm so glad we made the trip out to Marble Falls just for Bear King Brewing Company! We've enjoyed every beer we've had in San Antonio and the beer is what spurred us to head up 281 today. The brewery and food were no different...... Beautifully executed and no detail overlooked. I wish more breweries used this model. The cheese curds were perfectly fried and not greasy. Place is large with plenty of AC seating. Big porch but we decided inside was best. They sat us in "the worst table in the whole place"- it's in the corner and very loud because of some machinery above us. Our waitress forgot about us at the beginning since we're tucked away. There is no beer menu because they want to waitstaff to memorize it and describe things. Thankfully ours just pulled out her cheat sheet for us to read. Our server Karen was great. The beer and food could not be better. We have eaten here multiple times, sometimes twice in the same weekend. This time I had the Nashville chicken sandwich and it was amazing. The Birria tacos are my second favorite. It’s so good it’s my go too when the in-laws are in town. I posted a picture of my wife’s French dip sandwich. Thank you Karen for the wonderful service. We will be back soon!
We love to support local, especially family owned businesses. Cate made our stop fabulous even though they were out of the flavor we came in for. A quick visit here from Llano. Will definitely stop here again.
Place is good with a nice ambience. Food’s okay as well but for the love of God, maybe put filter in your service water? The tap water really tastes bad. Ordered their bear lemonade hoping to mask the taste of the water but jeez, I can still taste it despite the lemony flavor. Please do a water filter or whatever because the taste of the tap water is not cutting it.
