my experience at sugarland location was exceptional. from the moment i walked in, the leadership team warmly welcomed me, creating a friendly and supportive atmosphere. the therapists were skilled and compassionate, going above and beyond to understand each child's unique needs. their dedication to helping the children thrive was evident in every interaction. the center's environment is positive and uplifting, fostering a sense of community and unity among staff and families. the facilities are well-maintained, with an emph... read more
That this correct. This location is not one I recommend. They do in fact hire uncertified and inexperienced staff majority of the time. Training is available but training is given by those who are also inexperienced nor compensated for doing so. This makes therapist not want to be shadowed. They usually just stick you with someone to shadow as “training” and occasionally want you to jump in to model the same. Don’t take client behaviors into consideration during this. Theres only so much the BCBAs can do one on one includin... read more
The BCBAs and therapists have done an amazing job with my son and he has progressed both in his speech and behaviors. He also was potty trained and taught many skills such as brushing his teeth, putting on his clothes, and doign puzzles. He is a much more happier child and because of all of his improvements, he will now be attending general education with other peers his age. He has been attending BI for almost a year and we have seen so much progress.
I would not recommend bringing your child here or working here. The management in the center is great and tries their hardest, but there is no support from area management/corporate. When support/change is requested, it cannot be given due to “the numbers”. The children and their progress are the last of their worries. They hire uncertified and inexperienced staff most of the time. The quality of therapy is extremely poor.
Tessa , Marley, amazing BCBAs. The down side of this location is that the leadership team (outside of the two mentioned). Is incompetent with delivering quality for its staff and clinical team (RED Donkeys team , Kelli) . The CA is bias when scheduling and allows a particular party to “push him over” in EVERY curve ball situation leaving other parties feeling less appreciated. In the is matter I have transitioned to a new endeavor that doesn’t include BEHAVIOR INNOVATIONS. This week, I should have received my final form of... read more
