Two years ago I bought a fireplace insert installed by Bellevue Fireplace Shop. It worked great until the pilot light went out. Recently I called to have the unit serviced. The technician came and left within 10 minutes during which he replaced the four batteries in the unit, gave the glass a quick cleaning and reset the time on my remote. The unit now works fine. For that I was billed $249. Next time I will have another company service my fireplace. I'm sure there are other businesses that charge less for 10 minutes'... read more
