The first time I saw Dr. Kaplan in the early weeks of Covid, he saved my life. He may have done so during this visit as well. He listens patiently and thoughtfully, he does not judge, and he involved me in treatment options rather than dictating. His competence is only exceeded by his compassion. Dr. Kaplan is truly remarkable.
Excellent doctor - gives you what you need, doesn't give you what you don't need. He might not be your guy if you're just looking for confirmation of your own internet-based self-diagnoses, because, you know, he has training and education, but I count that as a good thing.
Dr. Kaplan was knowledgeable, kind and helpful. The medication he prescribed helped my condition immediately. I definitely plan to see him again for ongoing healthcare.

My husband literally has to beg for him to get routine blood work every year. He doesn’t answer questions straightforwardly, and because my husband is “young and healthy” he basically tells him there is no need to check anything. Do not recommend!
Didn’t listen to me. Argued that I didn’t have conditions I have since been diagnosed with. Had to fight to schedule diagnostic labs etc. NOT what I expect from a DO.
