Very positive experience With Berkley Homes as a sellers agent. My clients purchased their Berkley home in June 2021 and they are selling it to move out of State and during an inspection a broken truss was found and I contacted Berkeley Homes to see if they provided a structural warranty. I received a call back within minutes and they put their customer care manager on it for me. Elena was so professional and so quick. She placed me in contact with the truss company who responded so quickly and they had a team out there the... read more

Berkeley put the furnace in the attic of our home as one of its special features. It has been nothing but a nightmare. The furnace now has a crack in it (our home is under 10 years old) and because they placed it in the attic, they voided the warranty. According to the Heating & Air service, the warranty specifically states that it is void if the furnace is placed in the attic. Elena was very helpful and went beyond to help us understand our home and make things right. We appreciate the whole Berkeley team and are proud to be living in a house built by them. Update March 2025: We experienced an issue with our shower tile loosening due to flex in the subfloor (our home was built during Covid). Berkeley listened to out concerns, checked the problem, and worked directly with me to get it fixed out of the regular warranty period. I have tremendous respect for a builder who listens to their customers a... read more

We have had nothing but issues with our Berkeley home that’s under 2 years old and had to nag for issues to be resolved under warranty and have 7 unresolved issues due to them not following through. We are now dealing with flooding and black mold due to a valve that was “never sealed properly” (words of their own sub plumber) and Berkeley is taking zero accountability. We’re now out of a home for weeks and they expected us to just stay put and figure it out with a two year old kid exposed to black mold. Beyond disappointing.... read more

Elena Keyes with Berkely was very helpful to us with an issue we had with our master bedroom tile (even five years later). It was due to an error on the part of a contractor we hired for a shower bench. She very quickly helped us to resolve all areas of getting some that will replacement tiles that will match what we have already. Thank you Elena.
