It was a great experience working with Berkeley. We purchased our home in the early stage of construction after the plans for the house had already been made and building had begun. Even with that, Berkeley worked with us to make some changes that we wanted. After the house was built, Elena with the warranty team made sure that the few minor fixes were quickly taken care of. I would highly recommend working with Berkeley!
We have had nothing but issues with our Berkeley home that’s under 2 years old and had to nag for issues to be resolved under warranty and have 7 unresolved issues due to them not following through. We are now dealing with flooding and black mold due to a valve that was “never sealed properly” (words of their own sub plumber) and Berkeley is taking zero accountability. We’re now out of a home for weeks and they expected us to just stay put and figure it out with a two year old kid exposed to black mold. Beyond disappointing.... read more

Very positive experience With Berkley Homes as a sellers agent. My clients purchased their Berkley home in June 2021 and they are selling it to move out of State and during an inspection a broken truss was found and I contacted Berkeley Homes to see if they provided a structural warranty. Berkeley put the furnace in the attic of our home as one of its special features. It has been nothing but a nightmare. The furnace now has a crack in it (our home is under 10 years old) and because they placed it in the attic, they voided the warranty. According to the Heating & Air service, the warranty specifically states that it is void if the furnace is placed in the attic. Building codes at the time allowed Berkeley to place a condensing furnace in the attic, which isn't insulated, creating the perfect scenario for ... read more
