Had a wonderful experience today with the salesperson, Sharon. She answered my many questions graciously. I bought a bed, nightstand and table. The selection is very good considering Newington, NH is not the largest store. Prices were very good. I was pleased that all the pieces I looked at were made in the USA. After reading the reviews at BBB, I am now concerned over customer service. Hopefully, it will never be an issue for me.

I purchased a coffee table from Bernie & Phyl’s about 3 years ago and bought the protection plan Last month I accidentally scratched the top of it in multiple areas because I needed to put something together and the screws from this item put scratches on the table (the towel I put on table slipped off in the process That same night my husband called to put the claim in (admitted it was our fault) and the representative on the phone said “that’s what the protection plan is for) We set up an appointment for Saturday September ... read more
We bought a reclining couch faux leather, April, 2014, we purchased insurance protection plan, in November of 2018, I noticed a slit on one of the headrests that started peeling, I sent pictures to customer service, and a gentleman from the store came to look at it. He said “unfortunately our policy doesn’t cover hair and skin oils causing the damage”. I said we were never told this by salesperson and never received a policy stating this.! I purchased a leather couch, dining room table with matching chairs, and a rug from this establishment, along with a 5 year extended warranty with the promise that items could be replaced for any defects or damage. Less than 2 years later, the rug unraveled, the wood on the chair split, the dining table peeled, and the couch ripped and USB port never worked. I would not recommend this company to purchase anything from. We bought a couch and oversized chair from them a couple years ago. Paid for the warranty and everything since the salesman was good about talking that up. Two years later, the couch cushion seams are all unraveling and coming apart. Two tech visits later (first one was original to view the issue and second was a second opinion) I was told it was not covered and now the manufacturer of the couch is out of business.
