I bought a *********** Mattresses from Bernie & Phyl's that was about $1800+ dollars. I went there to get a reasonable comfortable bed due to back pain. The sales man got me into a bed that was way out of my budget, but that it would really help me. I was so desperate for a comfortable bed that I paid for it. He had mentioned that if the bed was not working out that I could trade it in for another bed as long as I paid $200 dollars as a return fee. The bed had the protection sheet on it . Pushy sales person (Dee) said competition was crap when it was clearly better quality than ******* *********I was looking at (** has low rating), she was saying ** was the best quality! Old tired sales tactic. I was ready to purchase a couch that would have lasted 5 years maybe, and I asked for a 8% discount. Manager came in, said no discount possible, left, I walked out, then looked at reviews back home and I am glad I dodged the bullet. Don't fall for it, look online first, know what you are buying.

I purchased a sectional costing over $1500 in December 2016. Within the year I saw one side of the sectional break and I called customer service to get this fixed as it was still in warranty. The customer service representative came in and put in an order for a repair. It took 5 weeks for the replacement part to come and after that I scheduled them to pick it up. Since both my wife and I work, and they do pick up in my area only on Tuesday, wednesday and Thursday, I requested them to come pick it up between 7 - 10AM. But the... read more

The customer service here is HORRIFIC. every time i call i get a different answer I waited over 5 weeks for a couch, then the delivery people scratched my hardwood floor because of there lack of detail that a screw went through the foot that they put on the bottom.. I have waited 3 weeks to date to have someone come assess the damage. Please save your money and never shop here. I am still waiting......NO STARS

I purchased a dining set on 5-18-14, this was a replacement set on a previous set that was also defective that I purchase through Bernie & Phyl's and I was given a full refund to purchase a new set. I also purchased the extended 5 year warranty with this new dining set. I had family over on Thanksgiving and I discovered cracking and bubbling of the veneer finish which is covered in the extended warranty. Bernie and Phy’s has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I had spent over $1000.00 on a mattress, box spring and sleigh bed in the Braintree store. I arranged for it all to be delivered on Saturday Oct 7. Two days before delivery I get the reminder call from them saying the delivery will be at my home Saturday between 7am & 11am.
