Bessemer Premiere 14 is located right off hwy 459 & is convenient to several restaurants as well as assorted retail & grocery stores. The movie theater is well kept & clean, including the restrooms. They also offer assorted concessions, candy & soda to enjoy while watching your movie of choice. Better experience pre covid. The atmosphere now feels off with less staff and changes to the snack bar and fewer people working feels like walking dead season one set. Last movie we saw here (freeguy) had to be stopped in the middle to tell a large group of people how to watch a movie properly and the manager threatend to clear the entire theater that was nearly full.
Love going to this movie theater. My husband and I have been several times to the matinee and with the exception of the last time, we have thoroughly enjoyed finally being able to sit and watch a movie without a bunch of nonsense going on. We will make the 30 minute or so drive just to enjoy a movie here.
As McCalla residents, we were thrilled to have a movie theater close to home and avoid long drives.
