Had the pizza one night. It was good, not the best. However, went for dinner on last night on island and had pulled pork BBQ platter. The sauce was excellent. Little spicy and a little sweet. Baked beans had a touch of cheese in them that was delish! Stopped in a couple nights for glass of wine. Happy hour until 6:00 - $3 house Merlot wine was really nice.

May not stay at Palmetto Dunes on next trip but will definitely go into resort to eat here. We ate here twice on our trip and I had the best pulled chicken sandwich on a very tasty bun. BBQ pizza and sweet potato fries were yummy too! Definitely a must try.

We loved the pulled pork BBQ. Where I'm from in Georgia, it's just called BBQ, but i wanted to make it clear for all you guys (ya'll). The sauce was great. It was a mixture of sweet and hot. Even my wife liked it! Sweet potato fries, slaw, and BBQ; Can't beat it! We liked it better than the other BBQ place on the island that was more expensive. Their not too busy, but don't let that fool ya. We ate there twice, the last week in May.

I've been to Big Jim's a few times and am never disappointed! Palmetto Dunes has done a great job reinventing this restaurant - it's the perfect place to grab a couple of beers and refuel after a round or time at the range, but we've gone over there for happy hour and lunch too for a change of pace. The food is great (the fried chicken is a can't miss - seriously) and the terrace is a great place for watching groups tee off on 1 and come in on 18. Pretty easy place to pass the time away on a nice afternoon.
