I’m giving this place a five because of the food. If you want to taste what authentic Louisiana boudin tastes like, THIS. IS. THE. PLACE. They set the mark, and create the standard for what this classic Cajun cuisine is supposed to taste like. What can I say, the food is good as it's always been. However, its just getting to the point where the price is pushing me away. It's all good from the bonding to crawling and special ty meats but FOR Me it's just not worth the price. I was local to the original Billie's and grew up enjoying everything that there had to offer but at this point I just can't personally justify it 🤷♂️. I went to get food to take back home for my best friend. But I got some for myself to eat in the drive back to Shreveport. I was so glad I did! The shrimp and chicken balls were amazing. I think we may have chicken balls for Thanksgiving! It was worth the drive!!!
This place is Boudin magic. I’ve never in 53 years had better boudin. It’s so incredibly good, I go out of my way to get my boudin here, and often bring it home to my family and friends in Texas. Love it!!’
This place has been around for at least 2 generations! We would stop on our way back home to Houston every summer as a kid! Best cracklings and boudain. They have many to choose from. Always fresh, hot, and good!
