I have been a caregiver for Biscochito for almost three years. It has been by far the best organization I have ever worked for. The work atmosphere is close to being family. I feel like I have impacted my community in a positive way throughout Biscochito. I have made impact in the peoples lives that we care for. My dad has 84 hours of care a week. All the caregivers treat him as if he was their father. I, his daughter, am totally confident that he is always taken care of. They go above and beyond their duties. Very reliable. Because they are such good caregivers it gives me the freedom to live my life including extended trips without a worry.
Biscochito focuses on creating a beautiful work place for their caregivers. I’m fairly new to caregiving but the amount of support and training I receive makes me confident and comfortable in the work I do. Taking care of someone else is something so beautiful , I enjoy my job so much at Biscochito.
