Best experience we have had in 8 years. We came in with our children for the last day of school and let me tell you George the manager was running around and even had time to stop and introduce himself. We enjoyed his personality

We met with the new manager and it is nice to see a Latino behind a successful operation. We have been regulars for as long as my husband and I can remember. He’s overall demeanor is professional but at the same time makes you feel like family.

This a great restaurant. I have been eating at the Gilbert location since it opened. I have always received excellent service. The has been great and I love the hamburgers and chicken fried steak

I’m sadden to say that I won’t be coming back to Black Bear Gilbert. I always come in with my family tow to three times a week. And love getting greeted by Aaron the Manager. He always made us fell like home and took care of us. And now that he is gone. It’s just not going to be the same anymore. I’m going to have to go find somewhere else.

The tea was way sweet and my husband likes sweet tea. The greens beans were way salty. My chicken fried steak was luke warm. And for what you all advertise about splitting a meal, funny. They were average size servings. We have been elsewhere that cost the same and much larger servings. They sat us in a room by ourselves with no one else around. Better service and larger servings in Vegas. Disappointed.

Hello! We really do love Black Bear, but one of the things we always love there, we did NOT love last night. The Pot Roast. This was NOT your normal pot roast. I even took a picture of it to show you (but dont see anywhere to attach it). It was very tough, almost gray squares of meat, much like a canned beef stew, not a homemade pot roast. When we asked the waitress about it, she said thats what it always looks like and she had NO idea what Pot Roast even was. Well my son ate it because he was starving and he said it didnt t... read more

We went for our 25th wedding anniversary and used a gift card from our son. We've been to this location many times, but last night was an off night. We are both on the large side and were seated at a small booth, which was a tight squeeze while there were larger booths open. But we are usually not one to complain. We ordered the chicken pot pie and potatoe for me, the baked potato was so dried out and the pot pie was cold in the center.I didn't eat much of it. It was very disappointing. My husband got the turkey platter An... read more
