First of all, your automated survey does not offer the 8am time when I had breakfast. Second, at that time, in San Rafael, you had one server for every table. The service and the staff were very good. Friendly and welcoming. The food: I had corned beef hash. 2 fried eggs and a biscuit. The plate was Cold, the Eggs were COLD the Biscuit was Hot. There were more chunks of potato in the hash than Corned Beef. I am only responding because I want The Black Bear Diner to succeed. There must be better training in the kitchen. I will try you again in a month or so. I hope the issues are resolved.
Sadly the turkey club was lacking turkey !
Service was ok. Food flavor was ok. The hash browns were under cooked scrambled eggs were cool chicken fried steak was a lot smaller than it used to be at other black bear diner restaurants I’ve eaten at
