The ambiance is a home grown vibe that speaks on its own. Very family oriented. The restaurant has a very nice feel and inviting atmosphere. The food is great and you have a huge selection of meals. I love the service from the staff. I have had been there 3 times. Welcome and Thank You for your excellent restaurant and Friendly Service. The restaurant is Black Bear restaurant in Baytown,Texas

Breakfast was really good this morning. Santana was our waitress. she was knowledgeable and accommodating, helpful. we good our food promptly. The restaurant was very clean. We will definitely go back!

I ordered the Bear's Choice with pancake and bacon. The pancakes were awesome and the bacon was good. The wife ordered an omlette and I was finished with my breakfast when her's arrived. There was a glitch in their system and all of the wait staff were lost. The dining experience left a little to be desired.

Cute place. First time at a Black Bear Diner and this one is new. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak from the "Little Less" section. It was plenty. I changed the seasonal veggie to green beans. The steak is a pre-breaded, frozen steak - not made fresh in the diner. It was still good, just not great. Mashed potatoes and green beans were good. Food was good, tasty and well prepared. Service was quick and tasty. Restaurant was was very good.

The service was excellent and the food presentation looked nice but both the chicken fried Steak and fish and chips were very bland almost tasteless. The tartar sauce was like eating a spoon of mayonnaise. We may go back to try their breakfast or sandwiches but dinner items were a disappointment.

First time ordering from here. Will never order again. Half of the order was missing. The sandwich that did come was awful. Did not think you could screw up a club sandwich that bad. The bread was burnt.
