I'm still waiting for my food , and waiting for more than hour. And waitress for that hour is walking up down just serving drinks no food. I know it's busy but I've been here where is more people and was served quick.

We sat down and right as we were about to order our food a roach crawled right across our table. So disgusting. The roaches have to be terrible in the kitchen in order for them to crawl across tables in broad daylight.

We gave black bear dinner another shot, and it was disappointing again. Today Sunday we stopped by at 3pm. I ordered French toast-bear choice. It was hard as a rock. I couldn't even cut them with my butter knives. They were extremely hard. Food took forever, we did not a refill and no one checked on us. At the end the waiter realized we were there. She apologized and offered a drink to go. But we were already dissatisfied. We usually have a good experience at the Pasadena location. Idk what happened to this location it used... read more

I don't usually write bad reviews--but our recent lunch experience was frustrating enough that I felt it needed to be shared. I've been to this restaurant many times in the past and always enjoyed it, but we hadn't been in a while and decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, it was a complete disaster from start to finish. The hostess, who is always there, still doesn't greet anyone--she won't say a word unless you speak first, which immediately sets an unfriendly tone. Food is fairly good. The service is awful. They do check on you for 20 mins at a time. Husband had to take coffee cups to them. They brought cold butter for hot pancakes. The butter never melted. Their waitresses are all over the restaurant instead of in sections. lt's not efficient.
Service was horrible. The food was undercooked, wrong food, no refills and our order was left to get cold. Add to that the cook was unable to get us our food, but he was sure enough eating in the cooking area. Manager is less the helpful. Corporate needs to investigate!!

Service was terrible. Food was average. I don't think we will be returning. We had to go get a waiter.
Biscuits were hard as rocks and cold Do not recommend for breakfast. Have not tried lunch or dinner

Horrible service! Very unprofessional staff! It took 45 minutes to receive a steak because the cook burned the first steak after ordering a medium steak. If I could give less stars I would. The manager discounted the order so I will give them another try.
