We were on our way home in Portland, OR from Helena Montana and stopped to see our dear friend Pam in Boise. She suggested we try Black Bear! We did and just loved it all, but most of all our waitress Mary Thomas. Not having dined at Black Bear she explained the wide menu and gave us time to decide on our preference. . Huge amounts of food for ur money . Much better service and management is 100% better than the other Boise location
Really like this place, but .... my sweetie took me there for Mothers Day and never again. The wait getting in wasn’t too bad but after that it was apparent the kitchen couldn’t keep up. Over 2 hours total. Will I go there again? Oh yeah, the food was still great once we got it. Felt bad for them.
The serving sizes are incredible! I split my meal with my mom and it filled us both. The food is wonderful. I highly recommend!!
