The food was pretty good! My daughter loves coming to this place. Service was great and the workers were very kind.

I ate at Black Bear diner 3 or 4 times during my stay in Boise. Generally I ordered takeout however, I did eat there once. The staff were friendly and I tried a few of the burgers they had and the chicken parm as well as the milk shakes they have. Overall I would say the food was slightly above average. Prices were good. I ate there a lot because of proximity to the hotel and how easy it was for me to get takeout after I got back from work. This place is always good, the staff is always amazing even when short staffed sometimes. Love the pancakes! Very well ran restaurant ... hats off to them!

Sometimes a little kindness goes a long way. Thank you Rebecca for being so sweet and offering me coffee while I waited on my to go. I had a long night of hosting and running around and I was so exhausted and beaten down and you really made a difference.

What a nice surprise to walk in for the first time and get seated right away. The food is yummy good ,fresh and plenty. Food came well presented service was good and the whole experience was enjoyable. We use to go to Black Bear in California sooo happy to find the same good food and service here in Idaho. We went to the Black Bear on State St. drove from Nampa, will return again Friday for another great meal.
