I am not much of a review writer but I thought this place would make an exception. I went in on a Friday morning and they had a crowd. I waited to be seated asked for a menu while I waited. I had a few questions about the menu and the person at the door whom I believe was the manager was polite and friendly answered and suggested a few items. Being my first time and being hungry everything sounded good. My Husband and I sat our server was great, the staff was great. Comfort hot yummy food and friendly people made my first ti... read more

My family and I were in for Lunch, there was a small wait, I have been here before, but today I just enjoyed it all. The food, service and the music were all great. I still prefer their breakfast menu more than their lunch.

The family brought me for my birthday breakfast, there was a wait but we were sat before our quote time. Jackie took care of us right away, my food was just warm but as the manager came by and asked how breakfast was and I said it was ok, she asked what could be done to make it more than ok, I asked to have it warmed and she did better, she had my food remade. I said she did not have too but she answered, but I want to. Superb service. Definitely on my list to try again.

I would like to have Daniel get recognized. We were visiting the Buena Park location. We tried this location by accident. We were looking for a homely type of breakfast location that was not a chain restaurant. I checked online and it was between Black Bear and a local cafe. We were glad we tried out Black Bear diner. We checked in for a party of two. We waited around 20-25 minutes for a booth. We were seated in Daniel’s area. He promptly greeted us with a smile. I explained to him it was our first time visiting. ... read more

I enjoyed the tri tip but it goes well with horseradish you seem to never have any Also most places have chives or some type of onion for their baked potato you also do not have that those are disappointing to me because of the type of restaurant you are that is something that’s all American also I find the consistency of the food varies greatly from visit to visit

Everytime I go to Arizona I go to Black Bear, love it. So coming here this evening we were expecting the same dinning experience. But unfortunately it is not the case. We order 3 dinner items that were on the menu, however our servers were very apologetic because they did not have the items. The kitchen was out. It is unfathomable to me that this restaurant would not have 3 different meals in one evening. Especially since there were hardly any customers. The staff are very nice and very apologetic. They handled the situati... read more
