I’ve gone to a lot of black bear diners and know how busy they can be. I went in today with my family of 4 and one toddler. I was told the wait would be 35mins. We came back and asked how long they said we are the next party. After waiting for an hour and 15 mins we asked again and Christian gives me an attitude when I wasn’t talking to him saying he can’t skip other parties. I never asked that I just wanted to know what the wait was. Give people realistic time frames. And being that you told me 35 his attitude was uncalled ... read more

This was our very 1st time at a Black Bear Diner and was recommended by family members to try the corn beef hash, my husband had it and was very disappointed, it was cold, stringy and hard to chew. I had the Scrambowl and it was delicious. The service was great and the atmosphere very nice. We took a menu home with us to see if we will give it another try.
Opening day signed up for the club and should of received a coupon for FREE bear claw-didn't happen. Why not - not holding up to your word. Fish&chips was excellent. Went back in November food was no good and service took too long. May try third time and hopefully it improves. Why is menu different from other locations? Was looking forward for the fried chicken pieces and not there - why. For this busy location hope things improved.
