I was there for lunch.. Food was good.. service was okey.. portions were regular sized. I loved the food but experience was not that great. They can improve on service and yeah the quality of fruits they serve.. Not a bad place for a casual meal, but not like really good..

On 09/14/2018, my husband and I had a very nice breakfast experience at this restaurant. My food was perfect, the pork sausage being plump, moist and especially tasty. My husband had biscuits and gravy and cleaned his plate. He loves biscuits and gravy but if they aren't good, he won't eat them. The restaurant was moderately busy, very clean, and I can't say enough nice things about Melissa, our waitress. She was genuinely friendly and very efficient. Overall, it was a great start to a busy day.

I love eating at black bear diner. food is delicious arrives hot and. scrumptious only problem. What to. order!!! I highly recommend it
it was busy but the service was and food were great!
Wonderful dinner tonight at the Emeryville Black Bear Diner ... Maria (& Jose) served me a very fine dinner ... Maria was very prompt and attentive ... her (their) great service was equally matched by a wonderfully prepared Rib Eye Steak dinner ... thank you and when I return to the area I’ll be back again ... I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants great service & great food for a reasonable price.
So much food. Leftovers. Service was good. Food was hot.
