Nice staff yummy food. It’s in a great location and easy to get to.
Good prices for big food! Keep saying I will try the burger or lunch/dinner options but ordering breakfast food. Bigfoot chicken fried steak and southern scramble are satisfying and will make you wanna hibernate like a big ol bear. Great place to pig out for not much money

Dear Black Bear Diner, My family and I lost our homes in the fires last week.. The fire was on our street and we had to literally run for our lives. We have been staying in shelters. Yesterday I was taking my kids to stay with family for a few days in Berkeley. My kids saw your diner and begged to go. The Black Bear is their favorite restaurant.
